The Annual Rose Fair.
The Church of St Peter and St Paul together with its gardens is the focal point for this Fenland version of the "Chelsea Flower Show". The enormous Church, built by past generations to the glory of God, is filled with wonderful flower creations. The other Churches in central Wisbech join in, each displaying themed floral arrangements on a grand scale. A walking tour of the venues, each providing tea and home made cakes, will take 2-3 hours.

A wonderful lunch, or snack, with lots of Rose Fair Specials can then be had at the Rose and Crown Hotel. We also serve Fenland Cream Teas throughout the year.

Rose Fair Saturday is the day the town of Wisbech and the Villages around it hold a Carnival.

Schools, youth organisations and local firms decorate floats and these together with local bands and other groups parade through the Town. (the Round Table Organisation)

Other Local Activities

Current activities include the Wisbech Marina, whereas previous local activities include a display by the Historical Vehicle Club, a display by the veterans of the East Anglia Regiment, a Folk Festival day with Morris Dancers and Folk Music, a Halloween children's party and more.
